Supported devices

DashEditor supports every variant in the MXG, MXS, MXP, MXT, and PDM families. Solo 2 DL joined the supported list in v0.2.9.0 (experimental — see below). This page is the source of truth — kept in sync with each release.

MXT MXT
MXT Strada
1280 × 480 wide-format dash.
PDM32 PDM32 Power Distribution Module. Drives two independent displays (Dash 1: 1280 × 480, Dash 2: 800 × 480) — both editable as separate page sets in DashEditor.
PDM08 PDM08 Eight-channel PDM. Same dual-display pattern as PDM32.
Solo 2 DL experimental Solo 2 DL 238 × 99 GPS lap timer with data-logging input. Open + edit + save + reopen-in-RS3 round-trip is validated; physical-dash transmit is pending a customer beta. Limitation: Add-new-page is not yet supported on Solo 2 DL — edit existing pages, or add new ones via RaceStudio3 first. Element edit / move / resize / delete / insert all work normally.
Auto-detection. DashEditor reads the device type from the .zconf2 itself — you don't pick it manually. If your file's device is in the list above, it just opens.

In development no promises

DeviceStatusNotes
Solo 2 First on the bench GPS lap timer (no data logging). Different overlay tree shape than Solo 2 DL — the supported Solo 2 DL pipeline doesn't carry over directly. Active investigation; no committed ship date.
Want to help validate Solo 2 DL on real hardware? The current ship is round-trip-validated on a real RS3-saved fixture but hasn't yet been transmitted to a physical Solo 2 DL by an end user. If you own one and would like to help close that loop — email support@speedfreaks.no.

Not currently planned no roadmap

These devices exist in the AIM lineup but DashEditor doesn't have them on a current roadmap. Customer demand can change that — drop a line if you need one.

If a device isn't listed here at all, it hasn't been investigated yet — ask and I'll take a look.

Verify your specific file

Hardware variant matters less than what's actually in your .zconf2. Some configs have been hand-edited or carry channels DashEditor doesn't yet model. The fastest way to know:
